Montana Youth Challenge Academy is proud to offer an established scholarship  program to assist program graduates, who plan to continue education in college, vocational school programs, or career training. 

The Adjutant General's Award
This is the highest award a cadet can earn. It is awarded during each program cycle to a cadet, who represents the work ethics, values, aspirations, educational achievements, leadership skills, and team efforts of the Youth Challenge goals and philosophy. 

Roger Larsen Award
Awarded to Company/JMG Leadership Cadet

American Legion School Award
The distinguished achievement award recognizes the high qualities of courage, honor, leadership, patriotism, scholarship, and service. 

The Commandant's Award
This award is given to the cadet who excels in all aspects of the program and serves as role model for other cadets to emulate. The cadets' achievements in terms of personal growth, educational attainment, physical fitness, spirit, assistance to others, and support of Youth Challenge will create eligibility to receive this award. 

The Challenge Award
This award will be given to the cadets who exhibit and promote the spirit of the program, and they will be measured in terms of team participants, marching, professional appearance, living quarters, and those who seek to be challenged. This award is given to three graduates. 

The Physical Fitness Award
This award will be given to the top male and top female cadets who displayed the highest level of fitness in all evaluated areas as determined by the commandant. Daily effort is also taken into consideration.

The Most Improved Cadet Award
Given to the cadet, who throughout the program demonstrated the most improvement in all aspects of the program. 

National Guard Foundation Awards
This award is honored to four cadets to be used for college, community college, vo-tech, or technical training.
